I went to the ugly duckling with a few of my friends today after the beach. We were skeptical about trying the food because we had only ever been there to go to the bar. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and I was blown away by how good the food was. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the burger was so juicy. I will definitely be coming back. Also the service was amazing. We had a young waiter who told us she had only been working there for about a month. I'm forgetting her name but her service was amazing. We will definitely be making the ugly ducking a usual diner spot.
Snow White's Apple Salad
The Disney Dinner Menu event was a ton of fun. The food was great, the drinks were even better and the movies, decorations and music were a blast. I definitely hope you do it again.

Kung Pow Calamari
The Kung Pow Calamari dish at The Ugly Duckling is an extremely solid dish. As this has become an exceedingly popular dish among different establishments, you become more skeptical of the execution at any given place. The calamari was cooked very well - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Kung Pow sauce was spicy and full of flavor, and the dish had a great combination of peanuts, scallions, and red chili peppers that added a nice crunch and texture. Overall, a delicious dish that I would recommend to anyone looking for a tasty appetizer.
